Kibale Forest National Park

Kibale Forest National Park

Chimpanzee tracking in Uganda’s primate capital.

Why Kibale?

The Primate Forest

Kibale Forest National Park is renowned for its high concentration of primates, particularly chimpanzees. Guided treks through tropical forest offer dynamic, often fast-paced encounters with habituated chimpanzee groups.

The forest supports additional primate species, diverse birdlife and lush vegetation, making it one of Uganda’s most ecologically rich regions. Experiences range from standard chimpanzee tracking to extended habituation experiences for deeper engagement.

Kibale works particularly well alongside Bwindi or other East African safari itineraries, adding primate diversity to broader wildlife itineraries.
