Entebbe

Entebbe

A lakeside gateway on the shores of Lake Victoria.

Why Entebbe?

A Gentle Beginning

Set on a peninsula along Lake Victoria, Entebbe offers a calm and tropical introduction to Uganda. Palm-lined shores, botanical gardens and wide skies create a relaxed first impression before heading into the country’s forests and parks.

Beyond its gateway role, Entebbe offers light, well-paced activities including visits to the Botanical Gardens, Kampala, Mabamba Swamp- home of the shoebill. Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary and lakeside walks at sunset. It provides a soft landing after international travel and a measured transition before gorilla or chimpanzee trekking.

Typically used for one night on arrival or departure, Entebbe adds ease and rhythm to Uganda itineraries, pairing seamlessly with Bwindi, Kibale or Murchison Falls.
