From Our Families to Yours

Across Bush & Beyond, our property owners have raised their own children in the wild places they call home. They understand how to balance adventure with comfort, freedom with reassurance, and how to create the kind of shared experiences that become family stories for generations.

This journey brings together the forested sanctuary of The Emakoko, the wildlife-rich plains of Mara Siana, the conservation heartland of Lewa House, the adventurous spirit of Ol Malo Lodge and the cultural depth of Sarara Camp, a beautifully paced safari designed for curious minds, open horizons and meaningful time together.

Day to day

Nairobi- Emakoko

The Emakoko

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you’ll be met and transferred directly into Nairobi National Park. There’s no better way to lift spirits after a long flight than spotting giraffe, zebra and perhaps even rhino on your very first afternoon, an unforgettable introduction to Kenya for children and adults alike.

Emakoko- Mara Ripoi Conservancy

Mara Siana Camp

A short transfer across Nairobi National Park takes you to Wilson Airport to catch your flight straight to Mara Siana. You'll be collected by a driver guide and vehicle to take you on a game drive across the conservancies on your way to camp for lunch.

Mara Ripoi- Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

It's back to the airstrip for your next flight, heading North. You'll be landing in Lewa Wildlife Conservancy.

Lewa Wildlife Conservancy- Ol Malo Ranch

Ol Malo Lodge

Leaving Lewa, its a short flight to your next destination- a family run ranch on the edge of the Laikipia Escarpment, will so many activities for guests of all ages.

Ol Malo Ranch- Namunyak Conservancy

Sarara Camp

Another short flight takes you into the stunning wilderness of Namunyak Conservancy. This wild space is the perfect base to experience the beautiful culture of the Samburu people, visit Reteti Elephant Orphanage and take in the sweeping landscape of the North.

Namunyak Conservancy - Nairobi

The Emakoko

Its time to head back to Nairobi. A driver and vehicle will meet you at Wilson Airport and can be at your disposal for the rest of the day, for meals, shopping and other experiences- or take a break and book a day room to relax and refresh back at the Emakoko before heading to the International Airport for you flight home.
