Bush & Beyond Transfer vehicles and driver COVID-19 safety protocols.
The Bush & Beyond drivers will have valid COVID-19 free certification not more than 14 days old from a recognized government approved facility at the first time and subsequently maintain Covid-19 prevention guidelines prescribed by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and relevant agencies.
The Bush & Beyond drivers will maintain a daily log of their temperatures and note any potential symptoms of COVID-19. If a temperature of 37.5 degrees is noted they will not report for work and isolate at home. Further symptom checks will be conducted and a tele-call with a medical practitioner undertaken. If deemed appropriate by the medical practitioner a COVID-19 test will be taken and further appropriate steps taken as indicated by the Ministry of Health.
If a driver is confirmed positive with COVID-19, contact tracing of any guests they have been in close contact with over the previous two weeks will be done and appropriate steps and measures undertaken. The drivers do not rotate around the vehicle fleet so the drivers vehicle will be deep cleaned and not used for at least 72 hrs. after the deep clean.
The drivers will wear a face mask at all times when interacting with guests and when in the vehicle. Hand Sanitizer that contains at least 60% ethanol or 70% isopropanol and is certified by the Kenya Bureau of Standards will be readily available for the driver to sanitize their hands often.
